Creating a festive Easter crown is a delightful way to celebrate the holiday while engaging your toddler’s creativity.
This simple craft allows for personalization and can be adjusted to fit your child’s preferences.

Materials Needed
- Green cardstock or construction paper
- Scissors
- Child-safe adhesive (glue stick or double-sided tape)
- Pastel-coloured paper
- Easter-themed printables or stickers
- Optional: plastic eggs, faux bunny ears, artificial spring flowers
Step 1: Create the Crown Base
- Measure your child’s head to determine the appropriate length for the crown base.
- Cut a strip of green cardstock to the measured length, ensuring it’s wide enough to serve as a sturdy base.
- If one strip isn’t long enough, combine two strips using adhesive.
Step 2: Decorate the Crown
- Cut out shapes from pastel-coloured paper, such as eggs, flowers, or butterflies.
- Attach Easter-themed printables or stickers to the crown base.
- Use child-safe adhesive to secure the decorations onto the crown.
Step 3: Add Embellishments
- Add plastic eggs, bunny ears, or spring flowers for added whimsy.
- Ensure all embellishments are securely attached and not too heavy for the crown.
Step 4: Assemble the Crown
- Once decorated, form the strip into a circle that fits comfortably on your child’s head.
- Use adhesive to secure the ends together.
Safety Note: Always supervise your toddler during the crafting process, especially when using scissors and small decorative items.
