Easy Handprint Four-Leaf Clovers

This simple craft uses toddler handprints to form a four-leaf clover that celebrates St. Patrick’s Day.

It takes about 10 minutes to complete and gives a fun way to explore creativity.

Materials Needed

Step 1: Prepare the Paint

Pour a small amount of green paint onto the paper plate.

Step 2: Dip the Hand

Gently dip the toddler’s hand into the paint.

Step 3: Create the Clover

Press the painted hand onto the construction paper.
Rotate the paper a quarter turn and press again until four handprints form a clover shape.

Step 4: Enhance the Artwork

Allow the paint to dry.
Outline the clover with a marker and draw a stem beneath.

Step 5: Add Extra Sparkle

Add glitter or stickers for extra sparkle if desired.
Let any extra decoration dry before handling.
