Materials Needed

Step 1: Prepare the Workspace

Lay down newspaper or a protective covering to keep the area clean. Have wipes or a damp cloth ready for quick clean-up.

Step 2: Create the Footprint

If using a template, download and print it on cardstock. Alternatively, create your own by cutting a sponge into a paw print shape.

Apply a thin layer of white paint to your toddler’s foot using a paintbrush.

Press the painted foot onto the white construction paper to create a footprint.

Allow the paint to dry completely.

Step 3: Add Bunny Features

Once the footprint is dry, position it with the toes pointing upwards. Paint or draw bunny ears extending from the top of the footprint.

Glue googly eyes onto the heel area to form the bunny’s eyes. Below the eyes, glue a cotton ball to represent the nose.

Use the black marker to draw a mouth and whiskers extending from the nose.

Step 4: Add Final Touches

Optionally, glue a cotton ball at the bottom of the footprint to serve as the bunny’s tail. Allow all glued elements to dry thoroughly.

Optional Outdoor Activity: Bunny Tracks

Mix flour with water to create a paste for an outdoor Easter egg hunt.

Use the sponge paw print template to stamp bunny tracks across the garden, creating a trail for children to follow.
